Socks

These are advertised as wool sock but they are a wool blend. I wanted a warm sock to wear during the winter and they will work because they are warm and comfortable to wear but I will still be shopping for socks that are made with more wool then these have. The wool blend does help these socks breath and my feet don't sweat in them. They are soft and comfortable to wear and hug my feet nicely. The stitching is well done and they did not shrink with washing. They are medium in weight and the height is that of a crew cut sock so they are not long enough for my taller boots.

Used these sock in the Rocky Mountains for hiking through cold weathers and lots of snow. Kept me warm the whole day!

This product performs all of the mandatory functions of a sock. It, not unlike many socks, is comfortable and stretchy. In stark contrast to a traditional sock, which is detrimentally discomforting when wet, these socks wick water, which is an innovation that all sock producers should strive to include. However, they are not microwave safe.
